I’m based in our Cardiff office working as part of the Rating team. I have 30 years’ experience in the provision of advice in rating, compensation, landlord and tenant and asset valuations with expertise in the retail sector.
I joined Gerald Eve, now known as Newmark, in 2003 after working for ten years in the Valuation Office Agency. Part of my role includes advising clients on other non-appeal related rating matters in order to mitigate their rates liabilities, including empty property rates strategies and temporary business rates relief applications. I have extensive experience of dealing with rating matters on various classes of property including retail, restaurants, offices, industrial and universities.
I am responsible for the day-to-day management of a number of clients, advising on rating strategy, providing budgetary advice and updating on changes to rating law. These include EDF (NNB), Swansea University and Cardiff Metropolitan University.
