Occupancy at pre-pandemic levels
The office market continues to show signs of recovery. Companies have gradually returned to face-to-face work, which has kept office occupancy on the rise. The policies adopted by the national government, the high vaccination rates and the low rates of contagions have been the cause of the return to offices of large companies, the main occupants of the A+ and A buildings.
Additionally, Bogotá is consolidating as one of the most attractive cities for the consolidation of call center and BPO companies, which has increased the demand for this type of space in recent periods.
The consolidation and increase of coworking spaces has been another of the main drivers of office occupancy; this type of space has been highly desirable and preferred by companies to meet the current needs of hybrid work.
