Brian Zelis has joined Newmark as an associate in the global real estate services firm’s Chicago office, where he will be working with a team providing retail property representation throughout the Chicagoland region.
Prior to joining Newmark, Zelis served as an associate of Mesa Development LLC services in Chicago, where his focus was on mixed-use and residential developments in major cities across the United States.
Holder of a Masters of Science in Communication Management from Northwestern University, Zelis also earned a Bachelors Degree from DePaul University. He is involved with numerous retail/real estate focused organizations including Urban Land Institute, Landmarks Preservation, Metropolitan Planning Council, Friends of Downtown, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Council on Tall buildings and Urban Habitat, and DePaul Real Estate Center.
