Newmark has hired Bryan Loewen as senior managing director in its Global Corporate Services group. In this position, he will work closely with Newmark’s more than 200 worldwide offices to service corporate data center requirements.

Since 2004, Loewen has specialized in data center and other mission critical real estate properties. Most recently, Loewen was the practice group leader for GVA Worldwide’s North American data center division. He has advised major tenants, landlords, developers and private equity companies with requirements specific to the data center sector. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Loewen worked for over a decade inside the telecommunications and energy industries, holding a broad range of technical, financial and executive management responsibilities. Loewen’s firsthand knowledge and experience within data centers offers unparalleled real estate expertise to all mission critical facilities.
Loewen graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He received his M.B.A. in Telecommunications Management from the University of Dallas. Additionally, Loewen is recognized on an international level with a Certified Data Center Design (CDCD) accreditation.
