Newmark announces the addition of two new Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Market Co-Leaders, Andrew G. Power, MAI, MRICS and Sean M. Crosby, MAI, who joined Newmark in Southern California in the fourth quarter of 2024. As seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in commercial real estate valuation and advisory, the hires are poised to enhance Newmark’s valuation presence and service offerings in the region. Based in Los Angeles, Power and Crosby lead professional teams of experienced appraisers who provide valuation services for some of the most complex assignments in Southern California.

The responsibilities, oversight and areas of expertise of each leader are:
- Andrew G. Power, MAI, MRICS, Managing Director - Executive Vice President, Market Co-Leader – Southern CA, with over 30 years of experience, specializes in the appraisal of office properties and is regarded as a Los Angeles office expert in both general and high-end medical office facilities. Additionally, Power has extensive valuation experience with industrial, retail, apartments, development land and special-purpose assets.
- Sean M. Crosby, MAI, Managing Director - Executive Vice President, Market Co-Leader – Southern CA, has over 30 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience in the Southern California real estate market, specializing in the appraisal of retail properties and is regarded as a retail expert for triple net leased retail properties, strip centers, neighborhood / community centers, lifestyle centers and regional malls. Additionally, Crosby has extensive experience valuing industrial, office, apartments, development land and special-purpose properties throughout the Southern California Region.
Newmark’s V&A practice has continued momentum, having announced recent oversight expansions, a new leadership structure, a new Head of UK Valuation, as well as its 2025 North America Market Survey.
