Newmark is pleased to announce its new southeast regional office, located in The Pinnacle building at 3455 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. The 34,000-square-foot office space, comprising the 18th and part of the 19th floors, integrates four existing area Newmark offices under one roof.
“We created a vibrant, inclusive and modern space that brings together all of our Atlanta locations, underpinning Newmark’s strong emphasis on cross-business collaboration to deliver creative solutions and exceptional results for clients,” said Newmark Southeast Market Leader Sean Moynihan. “The new space was designed to reflect the values of our forward-thinking real estate firm, building upon our leading regional presence and helping attract and retain the industry’s top talent.”
Newmark’s new Atlanta office space was designed by renowned global architecture and design firm Perkins&Will, incorporating its deep expertise to meet Newmark’s vision. The result—which features materials including wood, glass, concrete, stone, granite and marble—increased natural light, maximized the 360-degree views and highlights both interior architecture and the city skyline through interior focal points in the space.
“When we began the planning and design process for the new Atlanta office, we were driven by a desire to embrace Newmark’s brand of ingenuity and innovation, its forward-thinking values and its focus on staying nimble. Working alongside our Newmark professionals, we designed a space that reflects our people—embracing diversity by working with women-led firms and diverse contractors who helped realize the space with an eye towards the future of work,” said Newmark Director of Corporate Services Luiza Adams. “It was important to incorporate eco-friendly, natural, locally sourced materials to create a healthy environment. The result is a cohesive Newmark experience that embraces company culture and highlights the firm’s Atlanta presence.”
The new space incorporates green biophilia features, sustainable natural furnishings, a folding glass wall that opens onto a terrace and a depiction of the Atlanta skyline to greet guests as they arrive from the elevator bank. The space’s sophisticated reception area includes client-facing collaborative areas, a café and a main conference room featuring foldaway glass front panels for multipurpose events and meetings. The design also includes elements of white oak—a material native to the southeast, comprising most of the trees in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park.
The new space accommodates today’s shifting workplace needs by featuring flexible, module team rooms, private offices, thoughtfully designed workstations with standing desks, phone rooms, quiet heads-down areas, collaboration points and conference areas. The new building offers tenant amenities that include direct access to a semi-private sky garden, on-site restaurant, café and fitness center.
“Our design team enjoyed co-creating and collaborating with Newmark throughout the design process for its new Atlanta office,” said Ping Wong, Senior Interior Designer at Perkins&Will. “We are honored to have helped create a space that reflects Newmark’s new brand identity and where employees can be proud and have fun entertaining their clients.”
The Pinnacle Building is a 22-story, Class A glass office tower in the Buckhead submarket of Atlanta. The property spans 429,044 square feet and is situated on a 3.74-acre parcel located at the northeast corner of Peachtree Road and Lenox Road. Buckhead is one of Atlanta’s most active office submarkets, boasting a prime location close to a multitude of trendy eateries, retail options and lively bars.
