Newmark is pleased to announce that three new hires with more than 40 years of combined experience have joined its Florida Valuation & Advisory (V&A) team led by Senior Managing Director and Florida Market Leader Norm LeZotte, MAI.
“Our Florida team is expanding, and we are thrilled to bring these talented appraisers on board,” said LeZotte. “Last year was a remarkable year for Valuation & Advisory, and we are excited to reach new milestones as we continue to grow our team.”
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Senior Appraiser Matt Earnest, joins Newmark, focusing on valuations in northern Florida markets. Bringing more than ten years of experience to his role, he provides valuation and consulting services for a wide variety of asset types, including self storage, industrial, office, retail, multifamily, and agriculture-related properties. Before joining Newmark, Earnest spent eight years as a Senior Appraiser at Valbridge Property Advisors, formerly Capstone Valuation Advisors (“Valbridge”) in its Jacksonville office.
Bringing more than 25 years of real estate valuation expertise to his role, Valuation Associate Max Alvarez joins Newmark in V&A’s Tampa office. As a member of its Retail Petroleum & Restaurants Specialty Practice, Alvarez focuses on markets in the southeastern United States with a concentration in Florida. Before joining Newmark, he worked for eight years at Valbridge as Co-Leader of the Convenience and Retail Fueling Practice Group, working almost exclusively on that property type. Previously he appraised commercial real estate properties in Puerto Rico for 21 years.
Kreig Skillman joins Newmark as a Valuation Associate in V&A’s Tampa office, focusing on valuations in central Florida markets. He brings over eight years of appraisal experience in various property types, including multifamily, land, retail, industrial, medical and professional office. His specialty asset expertise includes restaurants, churches, gas stations, and schools. Before joining Newmark, he was an Appraiser at Valbridge for eight years.
