Newmark announces it has arranged the sale of the historic Coliseum Building, located at 1506 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle. The property is at the corner of 5th Avenue and Pike Street, adjacent to Nordstrom’s flagship store and just one block from Westlake Center.
Newmark Executive Managing Directors Billy Sleeth and Paul Sleeth represented the private seller, Coliseum Building LLC, in the transaction. The buyer, Promethia Holdings LLC, purchased the property for $8.9 million.
The Coliseum Building, spanning 16,200 rentable square feet, is one of the most iconic buildings in Seattle. The property benefits from its hard corner location on Pike Street and 5th Avenue, providing excellent visibility and access.
More than 25,000 vehicles pass by the Coliseum Building daily, and it is surrounded by a daytime population exceeding 240,000. It is also minutes away from Seattle’s highly desirable neighborhoods such as Queen Anne, South Lake Union, Capitol Hill, Madison Park and Pioneer Square.
