Newmark announces the addition of industrial advisory experts Jeff Cecil and Sara Troy as Executive Managing Director and Senior Managing Director, respectively. With over 30 years of combined expertise in manufacturing, supply chain/logistics management and lease negotiations, Cecil and Troy will focus on tenant and landlord representation for industrial users across North America.
Cecil and Troy will join the Industrial Advisory Group (IAG), working alongside Executive Managing Directors Blake Anderson and Adam Petrillo, Senior Managing Director Brian Prevoe in Canada and IAG’s broader North American team. The new duo will report to Ran Holman, Executive Vice President and Texas Market Leader.
“The addition of Jeff and Sara reinforces Newmark’s commitment to hiring the industry’s best and brightest,” said Liz Hart, President of Leasing for North America. “Their combined expertise and track record will be instrumental in enhancing our leasing capabilities, driving success for clients across the U.S., and further solidifying our position as a leader in the industrial leasing sector.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeff and Sara to Newmark,” said Holman. “Bringing in top talent sets a benchmark for excellence and a high-performance culture. I’m confident this team’s exceptional talent and expertise will make an immediate impact on our industrial capabilities locally, nationally and internationally.”
The IAG is a group of multi-disciplined advisors offering tailored consulting and brokerage services with the aim of elevating real estate advisory for industrial and logistics clients. The group was developed to support the clients as the sector continues to evolve, offering integrated expertise across supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution and manufacturing to address the complex needs of global organizations and ensure real estate solutions align with goals.
As a specialist in industrial corporate services with over 20 years of leadership experience, Cecil, co-located in Dallas, Texas and Southern California, has managed national transactions involving millions of square feet of new leases, purchases and build-to-suit projects. Before joining Newmark, he served as an Executive Managing Director at Savills’ Orange County office. Prior thereto, Cecil was Principal of Cresa Orange County, where he and his team lead the firm’s industrial services.
Troy, co-located in Dallas, Texas and Northern Virginia, brings a decade of experience specializing in portfolio management, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and subleasing on behalf of multi-market national and international industrial clients. Prior to joining Newmark, Troy was a Senior Managing Director, serving on the number one industrial team at Savills. Previously, she managed national accounts as a Senior Advisor at Cresa Orange County.
“Newmark’s commitment to providing strategic, client-focused solutions aligns perfectly with our professional values, and I am excited to work with such a talented team,” said Cecil.
Troy added, “I am eager to collaborate with Newmark’s outstanding professionals and join the Industrial Advisory Group as we continue to help our clients achieve their real estate goals in the ever-evolving industrial market.”
