James L. Matthews Jr. and Andrew Rosenberg have been promoted to Associate Director from Associate in Newmark’s Atlanta office. Both professionals serve on the tenant representation team headed by Senior Managing Director Kay C. Davis.
Matthews joined the company in 2002. He specializes in providing corporate advisory strategies to major corporations in the Southeast and throughout the country. Prior to working at Newmark, Matthews served as a corporate real estate advisor at Julien J. Studley Inc. and, before that, an asset manager for a Washington, D.C., developer.
Rosenberg also joined Newmark in 2002. His expertise is in tenant representation for clients in various industries from law firms and accounting firms to radio stations and entertainment companies. He is also active on behalf of the Atlanta Sports Council and the Association for Corporate Growth.
The pair recently worked together with team leader Kay Davis on several notable transactions including a 37,000-square-foot expansion and sublease deal for West Asset Management in Marietta, Ga.; a 30,259-square-foot relocation lease for Ameron’s regional headquarters in Alpharetta, Ga.; and a 12,000-square-foot relocation and renewal for Steak-Out Franchising Inc.’s headquarters in Norcross, Ga.
