Newmark announces it has been appointed as the exclusive leasing agent for the King and Queen Towers, a premier 1.4 million-square-foot office campus comprising 5 & 6 Concourse Parkway located within the Concourse Corporate Center on Atlanta’s perimeter skyline. Newmark’s Senior Managing Directors Brad Kirschner, Stewart Thrash and RJ Zurak, along with Executive Managing Director Craig Kalinowski, are the agents on behalf of owner Building and Land Technology (BLT).
“Newmark is honored to work with BLT on these iconic Atlanta towers, which set a high standard for office excellence emphasizing productive, collaborative environments that enhance tenant experiences,” said Barry Gosin, Newmark’s Chief Executive Officer.
“The assignment represents one of the most significant office leasing appointments in Atlanta and we are proud to bring Newmark’s energy, market knowledge and our team’s dual representation approach to the King and Queen towers,” Kirschner added. “Our recent market growth positions us to deliver unmatched results, highlighting the King and Queen’s iconic prominence as the innovative workplace destination in the city. We look forward to partnering with BLT to further elevate the campus.”
As a distinguished landmark, the King and Queen is a cornerstone for modern work-life integration in Atlanta, recognized for comprehensive amenities and a superior location. The campus fosters a unique ecosystem where businesses and professionals can thrive, featuring expansive workspaces, premium fitness facilities, dining options, outdoor spaces, community and collaborative areas, bike paths and hotel accommodations. Known as “a city within a city,” the King and Queen include a recently renovated 372-room Westin Hotel, a Lifetime Premier fitness center, a KinderCare childcare facility and multiple on-site dining options. The property also features a newly opened marketing center on the 12th floor of the King building that invites prospective tenants to experience the properties firsthand.
Among the standout opportunities at the King and Queen are an exclusive 150,000-square-foot contiguous space and the prestigious “Crown of the King”- a stunning 24,000-square-foot space spanning two floors at 12,000 square feet per floor atop the King Tower, which offers some of Atlanta’s best 360-degree views. The towers also provide floor plates up to 27,000 square feet with flexible layouts for diverse tenant needs, from open white-box offices to modern spec suites.
“Newmark exemplifies the dedication, expertise and drive that we look for in implementing our leasing strategy,” said BLT Chairman Carl Kuehner. “We plan to build upon the unprecedented leasing momentum in 2024 as we aim to reinforce the King and Queen as a leader in the Atlanta market, where tenants can enjoy a world-class workplace environment within an interconnected, live-work-play ecosystem.”
Ideally situated along Interstate-285 and GA-400, just 15 minutes north of Midtown and 10 minutes north of Buckhead, the King and Queen has direct access to Path 400, the MARTA rail system via dedicated shuttles and on-site bike share, allowing seamless integration with the nearby multifamily, retail and mixed-use properties.
Regent Partners, an Atlanta-based full-service real estate firm, will remain the property and asset manager for the Concourse campus, including the iconic King and Queen Towers.
