Newmark announces Charlie Farra has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Market Leader of Seattle and Bellevue. In his new role, Farra will oversee strategic operations and performance inclusive of two offices and nearly 40 professionals. Farra will continue in brokerage advisory, serving clients throughout the Puget Sound market, specializing in occupier representation.
“Charlie’s promotion to Market Leader represents the next stage of growth for Newmark in the region and underscores his esteemed reputation and exceptional leadership in the marketplace,” said Jon Mackey, Executive Managing Director, Northwest Region Market Leader. “His proven ability to lead, navigate various market conditions and deliver results for his clients sets him up well to excel in this role, and we are excited to continue and strengthen Newmark’s position in the Puget Sound market.”
“I am honored to take on this expanded role and build upon the strong office foundation laid by incredibly talented individuals,” said Farra. “With Newmark’s longstanding reputation in the marketplace, we have great momentum to capitalize on in the Puget Sound market and beyond, and I look forward to furthering the connectivity between the West Coast markets while continuing to serve my clients.”
With more than 15 years of experience, Farra has built a strong background in occupier representation, particularly in helping tenants navigate their evolving office space needs in a post-pandemic environment.
As Market Leader, Farra will assume the role previously held by 30-year industry veteran Tim O’Keefe, who will continue in his brokerage advisory role. “We are grateful to Tim for his invaluable contributions in leading the region and our culture, notably in spearheading the opening of our Seattle and Bellevue offices,” said Mackey.
