Newmark Grubb Knight Frank announced today that two of Denver’s most well-known and successful commercial real estate investment brokers have joined the firm’s Denver office. Riki Hashimoto and Dan Grooters are named executive managing directors of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Capital Group. Together, the team brings nearly 32 years of experience representing institutional and private clients in the Denver market and throughout the west. Considered one of the top investment teams in the area, Mr. Hashimoto and Mr. Grooters specialize in the acquisition and disposition of office, retail and industrial investment properties throughout the region.
“Riki and Dan bring a proven track record of creating and executing highly successful strategies, and building strong relationships with institutional clients,” stated James D. Kuhn, NGKF president and head of the Capital Group. “Our growing capital markets platform and invaluable team continue to deliver results and drive superior business performance for our clients.”
“With a wealth of prominent hires in Miami, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and now Denver, which complement our growing and robust team of debt and equity placement professionals that have joined from Nomura, Bear Stearns and elsewhere, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank continues to bolster its presence and reinforce its position as a leading player in providing first-class capital markets group expertise,” said Mr. Kuhn.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s senior leadership team has recruited dozens of senior professionals in the past six months and continues to do so. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, together with its affiliates and London-based partner Knight Frank, employs more than 11,000 professionals.
“The access to products and services through Newmark Grubb Knight Frank is unlike any other in the marketplace. Backed by a market-leading position in New York, proprietary technology in market research and financial underwriting, and the overall financial strength of BGC Partners impressed upon us the necessity to join Newmark Grubb Knight Frank,” said Mr. Hashimoto. “However, without question, the most important factor in our decision came from NGKF’s strong corporate commitment to service and putting the client’s needs at the forefront of every decision. This type of corporate philosophy really resonates with us.”
“We’re looking forward to collaborating with the Denver office and the esteemed professionals in the Capital Group. In addition, we have always been committed to helping our clients receive the best information, advice and service possible and believe that our clients will benefit greatly from NGKF’s national full-service platform,” added Mr. Grooters.
