Alethia Halamandaris is a Director at Newmark, based at the firm’s Century City office in Los Angeles. Halamandaris specializes in structured finance, debt and equity placement for institutional-grade assets and developments across North America.
In her 4-year career, Halamandaris has successfully executed over $3 billion in financing for a wide range of asset classes, including retail, office, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, single tenant, and land. Her expertise spans permanent, bridge, construction, mezzanine, PACE and joint venture equity financing.
Prior to joining Newmark, Halamandaris served as a Director in the Los Angeles office of JLL, where she started her career as an analyst then was promoted to associate prior to moving into production. During her undergraduate studies at USC she held internships at HFF, Beach City Capital and Endeavor Real Estate Group.
Education
Halamandaris earned her B.S. in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy with a minor in Art History from the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She graduated Cum Laude and was recognized as a Renaissance Scholar, a distinction given to undergraduates who have excelled academically while pursuing at least two widely separate fields of study.
