Alex Foshay serves as Executive Vice Chairman and Head of Newmark’s International Capital Markets group, based in New York. In addition to leading the group, Foshay’s responsibilities include global coverage of offshore investors seeking to make cross-border investments. Foshay has led the International Capital Markets group since 2018, after serving for three years as a Senior Managing Director. Prior to that, he was a Partner in Knight Frank’s Central London Capital Markets team. With over 19 years of experience in real estate capital markets, Foshay has worked across all major real estate sectors in sales, acquisition, recapitalization, refinancing, equity placement and joint venture structuring capacities. Since 2010, he has executed investment transactions in excess of $25 billion, and approximately 70% of that volume has been transacted with overseas capital.
