Alex Hedaya is an Associate Director with the firm, specializing in both landlord and tenant representation throughout the New York Metro area, with special focus on the Outer Boroughs. He joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. Hedaya began his career with RKF in 2015 as a Canvasser, updating the firm’s proprietary maps and databases, as well as collecting market information.
Hedaya represents many prominent landlords including MACK Real Estate, L+M Development Partners, Sterling Equities, Rubenstein Partners, Principal Investors, ACHS Management and Stellar Management. Notable ownership representation transactions include leasing 440 Fulton Street to Steven Madden, 145 West Street to Lightbridge Academy, 187 Kent Avenue to Showfields, 260 Court Street to Spear Physical Therapy and 71 Smith Street to Rowhouse, White Noise Coffee and F45 Fitness.
Hedaya also works with many well-known tenants in the New York City market. Notable deals on behalf of tenants include 15+ leases on behalf of Local Locker, 30+ leases on behalf of GoPuff, Murray’s Cheese at 28-30 Jackson Avenue and Butler NYC at 60 Water Street.
Prior to joining Newmark, Hedaya worked in production at Colordrift LLC and interned at Mann Bros Inc.
Hedaya was the recipient of the 2021 Newmark Rising Star Award.
