Alex Hedaya is an Associate Director with the firm, specializing in both landlord and tenant representation throughout the New York Metro area. He joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. Hedaya began his career with RKF in 2015 as a canvasser, updating the firm’s proprietary maps and databases, as well as collecting market information.
Hedaya represents many prominent landlords including SL Green Realty, MACK Real Estate, L+M Development Partners, Sterling Equities, Rubenstein Partners, Principal Investors, ACHS Management and Stellar Management. On behalf of SL Green, he marketed the retail at 1 Madison, a Class A office redevelopment anchored by IBM. Successful leases were arranged with Delicious Hospitality, Sweetgreen, Los Tacos 1, Alidoro and Joji. On behalf of Mack Real Estate, he marketed the retail at 145 West Street, a luxury residential tower on the Greenpoint waterfront. Successful leases were arranged with Jubilee Supermarket, Royal Pups and Lightbridge Academy.
Hedaya also works with many well-known tenants in the New York City market including CitiBank, GoBrands, Local Locker, The Little Gym, Skyzone, City Acres Supermarkets, Ace Hardware and UrVet Care,
Hedaya is a member of the International Council of Shopping Center and the recipient of the 2021 Newmark Rising Star Award.
