Alexandra Tennenbaum began her career at Newmark as an intern in 2014. She then decided to join the retail leasing team as an Associate and was recently promoted to Senior Managing Director.
Since joining Newmark, Tennenbaum has focused on expanding the team’s international client base as well as its high street business. She was recently involved with securing a Times Square flagship for JD Sports at 1466 Broadway and represented Watches of Switzerland in securing its first New York City location at 60 Greene Street. She continues to represent Watches of Switzerland Group in its U.S. expansion. She is also representing Manolo Blahnik in relocating its New York City boutique and expanding its presence in key cities across the U.S. and is working with the French contemporary brand American Vintage on its entry into the U.S. market.
Tennenbaum also represented Edie Parker in securing its flagship store at 781 Madison Avenue, Lilly Pulitzer in its renewal at 1020 Madison Avenue, and Nili Lotan at 1086 Madison Avenue. Tennenbaum is currently representing American Vintage, Edie Parker, JD Sports, Lilly Pulitzer, Madison Reed, Manolo Blahnik, Paintbox, Ramy Brook and Watches of Switzerland Group.
On the landlord side, Tennenbaum has represented prominent owners such as Columbia Property Trust, GFP Real Estate, Hines, Related Companies, RFR, Rockefeller Group, Skyline Developers, SL Green Realty Corp., Stonehenge Management LLC and Related Companies.
Tennenbaum is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
