With 20 years of corporate real estate experience, Amália Guimarães serves as head of Valuation & Advisory at Newmark Brazil, working for national construction and real estate development companies, national real estate funds, banks, national and multinational companies of diverse sectors. Amália is the responsible for the valuation of office buildings, lands, universities, hotels and several segment of properties and real estate portfolios, highest & best use analysis feasibility studies.
Amália joined Newmark after 10 years at Real Estate Incorporation area, working at Gafisa Incorporation, a national development and construction company, and other. Her role at Gafisa was as New Development Incorporation manager where launched more than R$ 600M in sales revenue, more than 12 developments per year delivered and achieved aggressive financial goals.
Amália also worked for Cushman & Wakefield managing Valuation & Advisory area between 2005 and 2010, where performed the valuation of several properties including a 6 thousand properties portfolio from Telemar – a national telecom company – in only 3 months. Also, at Cushman, Amália structured the department destined to real estate credit valuation to meet the demand of the main banks operating in the country.
Education
Amália graduated from Mackenzie University where she earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1999.
