Andrew Kraus is an Assistant Vice President with Newmark’s Debt & Structured Finance group located in the Charlotte, North Carolina office. His primary responsibilities include the origination and underwriting of multifamily transactions with various capital sources, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, banks, insurance companies, debt funds and CMBS lenders.
Before joining the Charlotte office in 2022, Kraus served as Analyst and Associate in the firm’s Bethesda, MD office, where he began his tenure in 2018. During this time, he assisted in the execution of multifamily transactions by conducting detailed financial and market analysis, underwriting and coordinating diligence and closing items for loans located across the nation. He played an integral role in capitalizing over $4.5 billion of closed transactions for acquisitions, refinances and recapitalizations.
