Andrew Wilson is a Director for Newmark’s Multifamily Debt and Structured Finance group in Austin. His primary responsibilities include managing all aspects of the transaction process from underwriting and marketing, to closing for the Central Texas region. Additionally, he assists the team with the origination of construction, interim and permanent debt, mezzanine financing and equity for commercial real estate assets in various stages of the investment cycle including acquisitions, refinances, partnership buyouts and new development. His experience includes over $2 billion in financing for institutional, regional, and private client investors.
Wilson began his tenure with Newmark as a Senior Financial Analyst for the company’s Affordable Housing group. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the production and completion of the team’s broker price opinions (BPO’s) and other ad hoc analyses, as well as the team’s marketing materials and marketing analyses. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked for Wentwood Capital Advisors, a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) asset and fund manager where he helped lead the valuation team in the underwriting of the company’s portfolio and was responsible for the underwriting of potential acquisitions. He has experience in underwriting over $6 billion in assets, in both sell-side and buy-side analysis.

Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
