Anthony Santoro serves as Senior Vice President and South Texas Multifamily Team Lead at Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Houston office. He has appraised hundreds of properties for numerous clients, including financial institutions, public/private funds, developers, and investors. Santoro also has significant experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac assignments. This experience relates to numerous encumbered developments operating under the affordable housing programs for state, local and federal agencies for LIHTC, Section 8, HAP, bond-financed communities, and tax-exempt properties.
Specializing in multifamily assets, he has appraised garden style, mid-rise, high-rise, and senior housing properties. These assignments have been used in mortgage financing, acquisition, disposition, and various analyses.
Prior to joining Newmark, Santoro worked at CBRE, Inc., where he most recently served as a valuation associate.

Education
Santoro is a graduate of the University of the Ozarks, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and a minor in physics. He has also successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and other organizations.
