Aric Trakhtenberg serves as an Associate Director at Newmark’s headquarters in New York City, where he specializes in tenant and landlord representation.
Trakhtenberg’s work as a tenant representative includes deals for IDB Bank branch at 400 Avenue U, The Workshop Project, Inc. a not-for- profit Middle School at 495 Flatbush Avenue for 10,000 SF, Japan Village, Sunrise Mart for a 30,000-SF Market and Food Hall at 253 36th Street and 934 Third Avenue, Industry City, a deal that cracked the ice for retail leasing in the million square foot campus; subsequently Japan Village expanded to another 20,000 SF on the Second Floor for a center for exploring Japanese art, lifestyle, and culture, Dixie BBQ – 1316 Avenue J – 3,000 SF Kosher Restaurant developed by the owners and operators of Fuego By Mana from Miamai, White Castle corporate at 1232 Surf Ave and up the block at 1217 Surf Ave he leased 12,500 SF to Hook & Reel/ K-Pot Restaurants, all in Brooklyn and in Manhattan he represented Federal Savings Bank for additional space at 125 Maiden Ln, Sweat 440 Gym at 80 John Street– 4,750 SF and in the LES: Trakhtenberg represented Seven Wonders Collective for her third apparel boutique, a 2,500-SF space at 319 Grand Street aka “Pink Cast-iron building”, right across the Street Trakhtenberg represented The Vintage Twin for her boutique at 69 Orchard Street, and In midtown: represented Midtown East Physical Therapy and Pure OBGYN for 7,055 SF.
Trakhtenberg has worked exclusively on behalf of several prestigious landlords, including Karl Kopp’s Estate; a restaurateur renowned for KOPPS Frozen Custard and ELSA’S on the Park restaurant, Foreman Family Estate, Foreman Fifth LLC (Peter Lugar Steak house), United American Land, Sthal Organization, BFC Partners, Clipper Equites. Trakhtenberg also arranged direct deals with Sol Goldman Estate, Thor Equites, and Industry City. During the COVID 19 Pandemic he represented KRIM & KRIM Law Firm and Bedrock Property Management for their SoHo assets in deals which involved navigating through complex SoHo historic Landmark laws. Trakhtenberg exclusively represents the MUSE Hotel in Times Sq. In the boroughs he’s been involved with new construction development deals involving HPD, HDC and NYC Housing Partnership funds.
Downtown Manhattan: In NoLIta, Trakhtenberg secured Axel Springer’s corporate NY headquarters, owners of politico and Insider’s media channels at 277 Mott Street, a 9,349-SF building designed by acclaimed architect Toshiko Mori. In SoHo, Trakhtenberg procured BibliotheQue LLC to 54 Mercer St, a 3,600-SF wine bar bookstore by Andrew Jacono and his son AJ, a renowned doctor whose celebrity clientele includes Marc Jacobs and Barbara Corcoran, he represented the same landlord at 481 Broadway in securing Dormitory Authority State of New York for 4,800-SF, and represented PALACE skateboards for their NYC Flagship store at 49 Howard Street. In the LES Trakhtenberg was involved in the leasing of 49 Orchard and 48 Allen Streets as an Exclusive Agent on the redevelopment. In Flatiron: he represented GIT Hospitality Group from Belgium for 6,846 SF at 38 East 23rd Street and leased 9,555 SF at 319 Fifth Avenue in Korea Town to Five Sense’s hospitality; LOVE Restaurant.
Trakhtenberg joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF Holdings LLC. Prior to joining RKF, Trakhtenberg worked at Eastern Consolidated Properties LLC, where he began his real estate career joining the Investment Sales training program; working alongside principals of the company.

Trakhtenberg is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York.
Education
Trakhtenberg graduated with Phi Theta Kappa honors in liberal arts from Kingsborough Community College. He has a BA in Speech Communication Studies from Brooklyn College.
