Ben Bowling, MAI currently serves as a First Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Dallas, Texas office. Bowling has prepared valuations and market analyses across a broad range of property types that includes flex buildings, distribution warehouses, manufacturing facilities, R&D and laboratory facilities, office buildings, fast food and casual dining restaurants, auto dealerships, entertainment venues, convenience stores, self-storage facilities, apartments, student housing, single- and multi-tenant retail facilities, religious facilities, schools, community centers, retail development projects, shopping centers, mixed-use facilities, government facilities, ranches, and vacant land. Bowling has also assisted in the training and development of appraiser trainees.
Bowling also serves as a member of the Valuation & Advisory’s Industrial & Logistics specialty practice. He works with a team of experts who’s innovative, consulting-driven approach provides best-in-class valuation and consulting services for all properties belonging to the industrial & logistics asset class.
Since the start of his career, Bowling has focused on producing quality appraisal work in a timely manner for mortgage lenders, corporations, government entities, estates, and private clients. He has experience with ARGUS Enterprise and Rockport VAL-based analyses, proposed development analyses, feasibility studies, subdivision development analysis, rent studies and business valuations with real estate components.
Prior to his advisory career, Bowling served as a secondary mathematics educator for eight years with three Dallas-area school districts. In this capacity, Bowling completed a master’s degree in school administration. The graduate courses in public school law and finance piqued his interest in tax law and real estate valuation.

Education
Bowling earned his Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. He previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Linguistics from Texas A&M University.
