Bill Fishel is an Executive Vice Chairman at Newmark, based at the firm’s Century City office in Los Angeles. Fishel specializes in raising debt and equity capital for institutional-grade assets and developments across North America, with a particular focus on structured finance.
In his 14-year career, Fishel has successfully executed over $20 billion in financing for a wide range of asset classes, including retail, office, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, single tenant, land and data center properties. His expertise spans permanent, bridge, construction, mezzanine and joint venture equity financing.
Prior to Newmark, Fishel served as a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the Los Angeles office of JLL, where he was a member of the firm’s Expanded Executive Committee (EEC) and Core Strategic Transactions Team (Core STT) for Capital Markets. He holds a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California (USC), sharing his expertise with the next generation of real estate professionals.
