Brandon Moorhead, MAI, serves as a Senior Managing Director for Newmark Valuation & Advisory and as the co-leader of the Convenience Stores, Automotive Energy & Restaurants Specialty Practice. Actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 2010, Moorhead specializes in the appraisal of retail petroleum facilities and restaurants, including service stations, convenience stores, truck stops, lube facilities, car washes, quick-service restaurants and full-service restaurants.
Prior to joining Newmark, Moorhead served as a Director with Hopkins Appraisal Services. During his nearly 10 years with that firm, he appraised more than 2,000 properties in the following states and U.S. Territories: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Going Concern – SBA
Per Chapter 4 of the SBA’s SOP 50, Moorhead has, within the last 36 months, completed no less than four going concern appraisals of special use properties (car wash, gas station with or without a convenience store, restaurant, etc.).
Education
Moorhead earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in real estate and finance from Florida State University. More recently, he has successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars under the continuing education requirements of the Appraisal Institute.
