Brian Lee joined Newmark in 2004. He is one of Long Island’s most experienced and sought-after real estate advisors, with a career that has spanned 34 years. Specializing in tenant representation, Lee is known for providing creative real estate services and solutions that are tailored to the needs of his clients. His scope of expertise is drawn in large part from his education and experience: He is Long Island’s only real estate advisor to hold both an SCRL (Senior Leader in Corporate Real Estate) designation and a BCCR (Board Certified in Corporate Real Estate) certification from CoreNet Global, in addition to a master’s degree in real estate from New York University. Moreover, Lee has vast experience completing an array of complex real estate transactions on behalf of his clients.

Northrop Grumman:

- Represented Cord Meyer in the acquisition of 80 South Street to redevelop the site for a multi-use facility, which is now being redeveloped into a 1,400-foot-high multi-use development
Suffolk County Government:
- Consulted for seven years on the county’s real estate portfolio, including multiple county health centers totaling more than 100,000 SF
- Represented department of health administrative offices for 63,000 SF as well as a variety of other government and community-based facilities
Mortgage Restructuring
- Negotiated a long-term loan modification and extension agreement for a $178 million loan
