Brock Cannon is Executive Managing Director with the Newmark Loan Sale Advisory Group. Based in the firm’s New York headquarters, Brock focuses on secondary debt transactions on a national basis.
Cannon’s experience with loan sales is extensive and includes the origination of debt and equity financings, restructuring and modifications of distressed loans, loan servicing, loan sales and investment sales.
Cannon started focusing on loan sales in 2009 and has since become one of the top loan sale advisers in the country. His experience with selling sub-debt is unparalleled, and he is an expert at conducting UCC foreclosure sales.
Cannon joined Newmark in 2019, after eight years with HFF. As a Managing Director in that firm’s New York office, he was primarily responsible for loan and portfolio sales throughout the United States.
Prior to HFF, Cannon was a Vice President in the Denver office of CBRE Capital Markets. He began his real estate career at the CBRE Capital Markets headquarters in Houston.
