Bryce Blanchard joined Newmark’s Salt Lake City office in 1999 and became a principal at the firm within a few years. In 2019, Bryce played a key role in facilitating the firm’s sale to Newmark. Over the course of his 24-year real estate career, Bryce has closed over 490 investment sales transactions with a combined value in excess of $4.3 billion. Bryce was Newmark’s Agent of the Year in 2017, 2019 and 2021 for the Salt Lake City office.
In addition to private client sales, Blanchard transacts some of the most noteworthy deals in the marketplace each year. In 2017, he brokered the largest retail deal in Utah, followed by 2018’s largest industrial sale in the state. In 2019, Blanchard set a record for the highest achieved price per square foot for a historic office investment transaction in Salt Lake City CBD’s history. Blanchard has also recently represented seven corporate headquarters in development activities. 2020 brought unique challenges to the investment marketplace that provided opportunities for Blanchard to demonstrate market leadership and guidance with a tremendous number of closings, which led to CCIM honoring him as the 2020 Investment Sales Agent of the Year for the state of Utah. In 2021, Blanchard brokered the all-time highest dollar per square foot suburban office sale, which was one of 37 transactions that resulted in shattering the commission record for Newmark in Salt Lake. In 2022, Bryce brokered a historic property sale featuring the largest office to residential conversion project in Utah’s history adjacent to Temple Square.
Blanchard is a widely published author as well as a sought-after speaker for seminars and industry events, having served as a key speaker for the NAIOP Symposium on four different occasions. He enjoys writing articles, participating on panels and consulting with his network of associates on matters of real estate, business and investing. Additionally, Bryce has been a student body president, valedictorian, Oregon state basketball champion, and was on his college baseball, basketball, and forensic debate teams. He also spent two years volunteering in New Zealand. Bryce served as the President of the Utah Jazz 100 Club for many years. Outside of real estate Bryce dedicates himself to youth coaching, charitable pursuits, playing golf and pickleball and making memories with his wife and four children.
