Charles (Chuck) Christensen serves as an Executive Managing Director in Newmark’s Irvine office. A licensed California real estate broker, he specializes in the origination of a full range of debt products for multifamily and other commercial assets nationwide, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD, CMBS, Life Company, Bank, Mezzanine and Bridge Loan executions. With three decades of experience in multifamily finance, Christensen has been involved in the origination of over $10 billion of multifamily and commercial real estate debt financing throughout the nation.
Christensen joined Newmark from Berkadia where he served as a Managing Director, originating loans throughout the country, primarily specializing in multifamily products. Before that, he originated commercial loans with Walker & Dunlop and Capital One. His work experience also includes serving as President of CKJ Properties, Inc. which specialized in direct commercial real estate investments, as well as real estate consulting services for borrowers and lenders. He began his career at Bankers Mutual working as Senior Vice President, CFO and Chief Credit Officer.

Christensen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Fullerton with an emphasis in finance.
