Charles Williams is a Vice Chairman with Newmark’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Denver office.
Prior to joining Newmark, Williams served as Senior Vice President with KeyBank Real Estate Capital in Denver, where he managed a team of mortgage bankers responsible for all of the bank’s multifamily loan production in the central and southeast regions. Him and his team closed more than $5 billion in debt over seven years with an emphasis on agency lending (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA), life company placements and CMBS. Previously, he was responsible for all permanent multifamily loan production for KeyBank’s Rocky Mountain-based clients. He began his career with KeyBank as a balance sheet banker at the firm’s Cleveland headquarters.
Prior to joining KeyBank, Williams was with Realty Funding Group L.L.C., a Denver-based real estate acquisition and investment banking company. He also worked with Studley’s Capital Markets Group, in New York and Denver, where he was responsible for the negotiation and restructuring of more than 1 million square feet of office space.

Williams studied Business Management and Finance at the University of Maryland and Real Estate Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
