Chris Larcher, MAI currently serves as a Senior Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Washington, D.C. office and has been providing valuation and consulting services since the early-1990s. His extensive experience includes a wide variety of asset types including, but not limited to, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial properties, residential subdivisions, office condominiums, raw and developed land, and special use properties. Larcher specializes in retail properties with an emphasis on multi-tenant shopping center assets in the Mid-Atlantic region. A variety of client types have relied on Larcher’s reports including lenders, attorneys, governmental agencies, and property owners. Clients have utilized his appraisals for acquisitions, condemnation, estates, and mortgage financing.
In addition to performing valuations, market studies and feasibility studies, Larcher has also been an expert witness in the State of Maryland.
Larcher recently joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory. Previously, Larcher headed CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory practice in Baltimore, as Director, from 2017 to 2022. Also, he was an Associate Director with Integra Realty Resources from 1999 to 2017.
Larcher achieved the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 2000.

Larcher earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University, Baltimore, Maryland. He has also successfully completed numerous real estate and related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute.
