As the executive vice president of property management operations for Newmark, Chris Prather holds national responsibility for advancing key infrastructure initiatives and standard operating procedures that enable employees to effectively operate and collaborate across the entire division.
While deepening the firm’s existing client services strength in management services, Chris drives overall strategic growth and operational expansion plans through the development, implementation and management of policies and procedures, training and quality assurance, and procurement and sustainability programs. Chris reviews and evaluates the business line’s compliance and performance on a continual basis and is responsible for enhancing all new assignment transitions.
Chris is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 40 years of experience, predominantly in property management. He previously worked at CBRE, where he was responsible for the property management operations for more than 40 million square feet of office, industrial and retail assets in six markets throughout Florida and managed more than 200 professionals.
Heavily involved in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International on a local, regional, and national level, Chris is a former president for the Greater Tampa Bay area and Florida.
