Chris Wadley

Chris Wadley is a Vice Chairman at Newmark, where he advises healthcare Occupiers and Investors on real estate strategy, transactions and project expectations. Based in Houston, Texas, Wadley is leading the growth of Newmark’s healthcare brokerage and construction management teams nationwide, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to providing best-in-class specialized advisory.

Recognized as one of the nation’s leading healthcare real estate advisors, Wadley has shaped some of the most significant medical real estate transactions in Texas and across the country. Among his many accomplishments, he oversaw one of the largest U.S. portfolio lease restructures for a hospital system in 2023 and led the largest medical real estate transactions in Texas in 2019, 2021 and 2023.

Before joining Newmark, Wadley oversaw Healthcare and Life Sciences in the central U.S. for JLL, where he ranked among the company’s top 1% of producers each year of his tenure. His previous experience includes key roles at Savills, Transwestern and Grubb & Ellis (acquired by Newmark).

Wadley obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
