Chris Williams, MAI, currently serves as an Executive Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Kansas City, Missouri office, and as the Co-Leader of the Golf Courses Practice, a subcategory of V&A’s Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Specialty Practice. Williams, a 25-year corporate real estate veteran, has successfully completed over 800 golf course valuation and consulting projects across 47 states.
Along with his in-depth experience with the valuation of golf courses, he also has extensive experience spanning most asset types in the Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma region. Clients have included commercial banks, developers, corporations, individual property owners, public agencies, insurance companies and legal firms for the purposes of mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, dispute resolution, portfolio analysis and estate purposes.
Williams came to Newmark after serving as a Managing Director for 15 years at CBRE, where he supervised a team of 23 appraisers in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Among Williams’ previous professional responsibilities were business development, recruiting, portfolio management and template development for golf course appraisals, and establishing valuation-related asset type specialty practices in Kansas, Missouri and throughout the Midwest.
Previously, Williams was a Senior Appraiser with Integra Realty Resources in Kansas City/Chicago.
