Christine Espenshade joined Newmark in 2019 as Vice Chairman in the company’s Washington, DC, office. A 25-year multifamily real estate veteran, she has substantial expertise in the sale, financing, and capitalization of multifamily investments throughout the United States with a specialty in the Washington, DC region. During her investment sales career, she has managed the sale or recapitalization of more than $12 billion in multifamily investments.
Prior to Newmark, Espenshade co-led JLL’s national multifamily platform while also leading a Mid-Atlantic-based multifamily sales and finance team. Prior to launching her career in investment sales, she held positions at Munimae, JPI and Archon Group with responsibilities focused on the development of student, seniors and family housing; property management; construction management; accounting; valuation policy; and underwriting.
