Cole Spalding serves as a Director in the McLean, Virginia, office of Newmark, where he focuses on the repositioning and lease-up of assets in a challenging leasing environment. Spalding has 12 years of experience in many different aspects of commercial real estate and uses his broad experience to deliver creative solutions to his clients. He has guided clients through complex transactions such as asset valuations, marketing, dispositions, acquisitions, financing and leasing. As the point person for lenders, appraisers, tenants, investors, attorneys, title companies and other players in the real estate deal process, he has proven to be a valuable resource for his clients.
Spalding joined Newmark in 2014 after working for four years at Avison Young Commercial Real Estate, where he also helped clients lease and market their properties. He previously worked at Marcus & Millichap, where he focused on investment sales in the $1 million to $15 million range for private clients in the Washington metropolitan area.

Spalding holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from the University of South Florida.
