Daniel Cressman is the Executive Managing Director with Newmark’s San Francisco office. Specializing in the sale of more than $3.5 billion of commercial properties in downtown San Francisco over the past 38 years, he has been instrumental in representing both domestic and foreign clients in all phases of property ownership. Cressman started his career with Knowlton Realty, where he focused on high-rise land assemblies in downtown San Francisco. In 1985, he co-founded local brokerage firm Whitney Cressman Ltd., where he represented high-net-worth offshore clients in the acquisition and sale of San Francisco office properties. In 1999, he led the San Francisco office of Grubb & Ellis to become the number one institutional investment sales office in the country. Cressman joined Newmark in 2012 and continues to direct his leadership for the firm in institutional investment sales in the San Francisco marketplace.
