Daniel Duarte is a Managing Director in Newmark’s Atlanta office and is an integral part of a national team that focuses on the industrial and office sectors.
Duarte joined Newmark in 2013 as an analyst in the firm’s Atlanta office and subsequently held the role of Senior Analyst/Director of Financial Services. In this capacity he designed and helped implement strategies for renegotiating real estate structures for over 17 million square feet of office and industrial real estate in the United States and internationally.
He transitioned to his current role in 2017 and became part of a diversified finance team focused on helping their client’s structure accretive, cost-efficient leases through a detailed analysis of landlord investment strategies and the tenant’s impact on asset values. In 2021 this team successfully helped their clients restructure 2.5 million + square feet of industrial leases, creating millions of dollars of savings and efficiencies.
Duarte and the team’s specific expertise is in debt and equity markets, REIT investment, CMBS debt, quantitative analysis, and structured finance solutions for their clients and users of industrial and office assets.
Education
He graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in International Business/Real Estate with a minor in Spanish.
