Devon Atlee, the former regional manager for the Sacramento and Roseville offices from 2014 to 2018, joined Newmark’s Sacramento office in 1994, specializing in the representation of both tenants and property owners in the leasing and disposition of office buildings. Mr. Atlee has been one of the firm’s Top Performers for Sacramento from 1994 to 2023, and he finished among the Northwest Region’s Top 20 eleven times and Top 10 five times. In 2008 and 2009, Mr. Atlee was recognized as the number one agent for the Northern California Region.
Mr. Atlee began his Sacramento real estate career in 1986 with Norris, Beggs & Simpson, where he not only was recognized as one of the Top 3 Producers from 1991 to 1993 but also was appointed AT&T Resource Management’s exclusive agent, responsible for all of the company’s facility needs from Sacramento to the Oregon border.
Mr. Atlee’s focus on downtown Sacramento has given him considerable experience in negotiating transactions with the state of California; the firm competed for and was awarded the prestigious state consulting and leasing contract for the Sacramento Region in 1997, 2005, 2011, 2017 and 2023. As a member of this exclusive team, Mr. Atlee has handled hundreds of state leases in the greater Sacramento area, since 1998.
In his 37 year career, Mr. Atlee has successfully negotiated over 1,700 transactions totaling in excess of 35.0 million square feet.

Education
Mr. Atlee earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was a member and officer of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. During his senior year, he obtained his real estate license and interned for the Los Angeles Land Company.
