Dina Deutsch is a Director in Newmark’s brokerage division. Over the course of her career, Deutsch has garnered extensive corporate real estate experience from both the client and service provider perspective. She possesses considerable expertise in corporate real estate portfolio optimization, strategic planning, site selection, lease restructuring, occupancy cost reduction, document review and negotiation and preparation of various financial analyses.
While at Newmark, she has successfully worked with many large corporations including McKinsey, URS Corporation (acquired by AECOM), The Walt Disney Company, Mitel, Nuance Communications, Morgan Stanley, Hillrom (acquired by Baxter), MKS Instruments, Precisely, RELX, Ricoh & EY. She has negotiated numerous new leases, lease renewals, lease restructures and disposition projects including early lease terminations, subleases and building sales on their behalf as well as being responsible for maintaining and updating reports including, project updates, rent gaps and opportunities and dispositions.
Formerly, Deutsch worked with Cushman & Wakefield. In this capacity she acted as a dedicated on-site real estate transaction manager, first for Prudential Financial and later for Verizon. Her responsibilities included execute her clients’ portfolio strategy through lease renewals, new leases, sub-leases, lease terminations and land and building purchase and sales.
Prior to her position with Cushman & Wakefield, Deutsch worked with The Walt Disney Company as a real estate account specialist with the corporate real estate services division, where she was assisted in managing the company’s real estate portfolio for the Northeast region.
Education
Deutsch earned her MBA, with an emphasis in real estate and finance, from NYU. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in policy analysis and management from Cornell University.
