Donald P. DiNapoli, MRICS serves as a Vice President in the Chicago office of Newmark Valuation & Advisory. Actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1990, DiNapoli provides valuation services to clients throughout the Midwest.
A highly experienced appraiser with 30 years in the business, DiNapoli has prepared and performed valuations, leasehold and rental analyses, feasibility studies, and market analyses on a broad range of commercial, industrial and residential properties in 26 states. He has considerable experience performing assignments for acquisitions, dispositions, divestitures, financing, investment counseling, ad valorem taxes, eminent domain, partial interests, and litigation support. His expertise spans a variety of core and specialty asset types including apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, aviation property, convenience stores, hospitality and gaming, industrial facilities, low- to mid-rise office buildings, manufactured home communities, mini-storage facilities, neighborhood and community shopping centers, single-tenant retail, religious facilities, theaters, subdivisions, and vacant land.
Clients have included commercial banks, developers, corporations, individual property owners, public agencies, insurance companies and law firms. He has significant experience in litigation assignments, including the preparation of appraisals and expert witness testimony for property tax appeals.
DiNapoli joined Newmark in 2019 from RVG Commercial, where he most recently served as a senior appraiser for more than 15 years. He previously worked as an appraiser with Neil Steffens & Associates.

Education
DiNapoli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Central College in Naperville. He also has completed the continuing education requirements as a Member Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors continuing education program.
