Eduardo A. Rojo joined Newmark in 2017 as an executive managing director in the company’s Tijuana office, which he co-leads with Oliver Rodriguez, also an executive managing director. Opened in 2017, the Tijuana office expands Newmark’s presence throughout Northwest Mexico. Its brokers provide real estate consulting services for industrial, commercial and office properties.
Mr. Rojo brings to his position 29 years of experience in portfolio investment sales and dispositions, leasing, property management, acquisition, renewals and development. He has also provided oversight of a large number of build-to-suit projects throughout Mexico, including large-scale industrial projects in Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada and Central Mexico.
Previous experience of Mr. Rojo includes five years as vice market of business development for ProLogis in Tijuana, Guadalajara and Mexico. Prior to that, he served for four years as vice president of marketing at Corporate Properties of the Americas, responsible for Guadalajara, Mexico City, Mexicali, Tijuana and Hermosillo.
Mr. Rojo holds an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business; an International Master’s degree in finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC), located in Guadalajara, Mexico; and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, (ITESO), also in Guadalajara. Mr. Rojo also studied real estate finance at New York University.
