Edy Gross joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure practice in 2018 as an Executive Vice President in the Boca Raton, Florida office. Gross brings to his position 19 years of experience performing valuation and consulting services throughout the U.S. as well as in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Gross has successfully completed assignments for a wide range of property types, including hotels, resorts, timeshares and casinos as well as marinas, commercial and residential land. These assignments have been used in portfolio valuations, property acquisitions, feasibility analysis, highest and best use analysis, mergers and acquisitions, sale leasebacks, internal planning, mortgage financing and litigation support. Clients have included commercial banks, investments, pension funds, life insurance companies, hotel and timeshare companies and law firms.
Gross worked for 15 years in Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) Hospitality & Gaming group, most recently as a Senior Director. Prior to C&W, Gross worked in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale region for HVS, a consulting firm specializing in valuation & advisory services for the hospitality industry.

Education
Gross earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. He also holds an Associate’s Degree in occupational studies from the Culinary Institute of America.
