Eldem Berksan currently serves as a Valuation Associate in the Kentucky and Indiana markets for Newmark Valuation & Advisory. Berksan has prepared valuations and market analyses across a broad range of property types that includes auto dealerships, flex buildings, distribution warehouses, manufacturing facilities, medical, single and multi-tenant office buildings, fast food and casual dining restaurants, convenience stores, apartments, neighborhood and community centers, retail development projects, shopping centers, mixed-use facilities, government facilities, and vacant land. She also has experience in preparing appraisals for special use property types such as churches, daycares, and campgrounds.
Since the start of her career, Berksan has focused on producing quality appraisal work in a timely manner for mortgage lenders, corporations, government entities, estates, and private clients. She has experience with proposed development analyses, subdivision development analysis, and rent studies.
Berksan began her career in residential real estate appraisal but has been engaged solely in commercial real estate valuation since 2020. Prior to joining Newmark Valuation & Advisory, Berksan was an appraiser at Integra Realty Resources.

Berksan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics with a secondary discipline in Finance from Western Kentucky University.
