Emma Nippe joined Newmark’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) group in September 2021. With an academic background in economics, geography, mathematics and policy analysis, she supports the economic development consulting practice with data analysis, project management, and market research. Emma is based in Chicago.
Emma has held multiple internships, most recently at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where she conducted market research and developed tools to streamline export advice to client companies across the Midwest.
Emma completed an independent thesis project investigating shifts in commuting behavior into Chicago’s central business district due to the widespread availability of rideshare services across the city.

Education
Emma graduated from DePaul University with a Master of Science degree in Economics and Policy Analysis. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University in Economics and Political Science with minors in Mathematics and German.
During college, Emma completed a summer study program at the London School of Economics and Political Science with a focus on economic geography and the future of global cities.
