Eric Shea has accumulated over twenty-five years of experience in the industrial real estate sector within Central Ohio, presently serving as Managing Director in the industrial services group at Newmark. Over the years, his clients run the gamut from entrepreneurial startups to large public companies.
Throughout his career, Shea has honed his expertise across various aspects of real estate brokerage, spanning tenant representation, marketing buildings for sale or lease, build-to-suit developments, sale-leasebacks, and property acquisitions for his clientele.
Shea has successfully managed the full brokerage cycle, starting with just a sign in an empty field to the initial building design, tenant pre-leasing and eventual asset sale to the institutional markets. Notably, Shea’s innovative approach earned him the esteemed “Most Creative Deal of the Year” award from the Columbus Board of Realtors for his pivotal role in the sale of the leasehold estate at 2642 Fisher Road, a significant component of the Penn Traffic Bankruptcy Reorganization.
