Ethan H. Smith, SIOR, CCIM began his commercial real estate career in 2003. He is a Senior Vice President at Pearson Commercial specializing in industrial properties.
In 1994, Smith graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and began his career in sales in with E & J Gallo Winery where he sold multiple product lines and introduced numerous new products to a variety of retail channels. In 1996, Smith transitioned to advertising at DDB Worldwide (the largest global marketing communications firm) where he was accountable for and managed the Agency’s multi-million-dollar relationships with clients, including American Airlines, Interstate Batteries, Pepsi, and Frito-Lay. While at DDB, Smith focused on integrated sales promotions as well as relationship marketing. Smith left Dallas in 1999 to help start PeoplePC in San Francisco where he was responsible for customer marketing programs in addition to being part of the early-stage management team. Smith helped oversee the growth of the marketing department and the expansion of the company into Europe and Asia. In 2001, Smith moved to iPrint Technologies where he was responsible for the company’s acquisition and retention marketing programs.
