Garrett Meyers is Vice Chairman of Newmark’s Debt & Structured Finance group in Los Angeles alongside his partner since 2013, Robert Younkin. Together, they originate a variety of multifamily mortgage products for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA that service private capital, middle-market and institutional clients. Their multifamily expertise spans market-rate, student, seniors and affordable housing. In addition to multifamily, Meyers and his team have been top producers in the manufactured housing lending space with average annual production of $400 million. Throughout his career, Meyers has originated over $11 billion in multifamily loans with $6.5 billion of originations in just the last five years.
Prior to joining Newmark, Meyers was an Executive Director at PGIM, where he led a diverse set of multifamily transactions including new construction, rehabilitation, bridge, acquisition and refinancing loans. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President at PNC Real Estate in their multifamily lending group.

Meyers graduated from Lewis & Clark College, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics.
