Guy DiRienzo, MAI, MRICS, serves as an Executive Vice President for Newmark Valuation & Advisory in the firm’s Denver, Colorado office. DiRienzo has successfully completed appraisals for a wide variety of property types, including office buildings, hotels, motels, recreational properties, shopping centers, industrial facilities, vacant land, apartments, regional malls, food processing plants, high-tech buildings, life science assets, nursing homes, subdivisions, special purpose properties, manufactured housing communities, congregate care facilities, breweries, feasibility analysis, mini-warehouses, restaurants, automobile dealerships, manufacturing plants and telecom buildings.
Additionally, DiRienzo has provided testimony and representation on behalf of clients for tax abatement hearings and condemnation proceedings in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Colorado and California.
Prior to joining Newmark, DiRienzo was a Senior Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado. In this role, he was responsible for client relations and office administration in addition to appraisals of real property.
DiRienzo began his career in New York City working for several smaller boutique firms. In 1981, he joined Stone & Webster, Inc. as a senior appraiser working in New York City and on a national scale primarily concentrating on trophy property valuations. He joined Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. in 1986 as a vice president. He held this position until 1991, when he became an engagement manager with the Real Estate Advisory Group. He rejoined Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado, Inc. in 1995 as a senior appraiser. He was named managing director in 1997 before he was elevated to senior managing director.

Education
DiRienzo earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University in New York City, where he majored in law and real estate. More recently, he has successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others. He is currently certified by the Appraisal Institute’s voluntary program of continuing education for its designated members.
