Howard Dallmar serves as a Vice Chairman in Newmark’s Palo Alto office, where he specializes in representing corporations and property owners in the acquisition and disposition of office and R&D properties. He focuses on properties between Santa Clara, to the south, and San Mateo, to the north.
One of the premier real estate agents on the San Francisco Peninsula for over 37 years, Howard has represented a large number of prestigious business entities in more than 1,830 transactions, totaling in excess of 24.9 million square feet and valued at more than $10.2 billion. Among his clients are Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Metropolitan Life, Silver Lake Partners, and Hudson Pacific Properties.
Dallmar became a Vice Chairman in 2018. Inducted into the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers Hall of Fame in 1998, he was named ASVB Office Broker of the Year in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2017. Dallmar was awarded by Connect Media as one of the top office leasing brokers in California in 2017.
Prior to joining Newmark, Dallmar was an account executive for Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company.
Education
Dallmar received a degree in business administration from Pepperdine University, where he played varsity basketball for the Pepperdine team. After graduation, he played professionally for a European team in Geneva, Switzerland, and in Melbourne, Australia.
